Our cattery is like our home, which means our Maine Coons live with us as beloved family members—no cages or kennels. We are located in sunny California, and we’re excited to travel anywhere to find the perfect friends for our kittens.
We have a membership to TICA and CFA. We are also bound to the ethical standard required by TICA. We also uphold the recommendations of PawPeds to maintain the pedigree of the beloved Maine Coons.
At Berry Furry Maine Coon Cattery, we pour our hearts into raising these magnificent cats. From their tufted ears and luxurious coats to their soulful eyes and playful personalities, every Maine Coon we care for holds a special place in our hearts. We are continually amazed by their calm and intelligent nature, as well as the strong bonds they build with the people who love them. To us, they aren’t just pets—they are cherished family members, nurtured with love and care from day one.

Since we began this journey around 2023, we’ve experienced both the sweetest joys and the toughest challenges of breeding purebred Maine Coons. There have been high highs and low lows—but through it all, one thing has remained constant: our deep love for these magnificent, gentle giants. It’s that love that fuels our dedication, giving us the strength and motivation to keep going, always striving to nurture and preserve the exceptional temperament and beauty that make Maine Coons so special.
Maine Coons come in a stunning variety of colors and patterns—one of the many reasons this breed is so beloved. According to the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA), Maine Coons are recognized in over 85 different color and pattern combinations. These range from the classic brown tabby to solid, tortoiseshell, smoke, and even rare silvers. Tabbies (especially brown classic tabby) are by far the most common and iconic, often associated with the “wild lion-like” look Maine Coons are known for. However, solid colors like black, white, and blue (gray), as well as bicolors and shaded variations, are just as enchanting.
Patterns include classic tabby, mackerel tabby, spotted tabby, solid, smoke, shaded, tortoiseshell, calico, and bicolor, among others. Some Maine Coons even come with white markings such as mittens, bibs, or a white blaze on the face—these are referred to as “with white.” Each pattern adds a unique charm to the individual cat, but what makes Maine Coons truly shine isn’t their coat—it’s their personality and heart.

The Pawpeds PawAcademy offers a structured learning path, featuring G1 for those interested in cat care and breeding, as well as advanced levels G2 and G3 specifically for breeders.
